A key resource in this context is PANGAEA – Data Publisher for Earth & Environmental Science, a leading data repository. PANGAEA provides long-term archiving, publication, and dissemination of georeferenced and quality-controlled Earth and environmental data. Each dataset is assigned a persistent Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring that research data can be reliably cited, shared, and integrated into future studies.

In addition to PANGAEA, program-related data may also be stored in other recognized disciplinary and international databases, depending on the type of data and scientific community standards. These repositories ensure that specialized datasets are curated appropriately and remain accessible to the wider research community.
