Organisation Workshops

The DFG Infrastructure Priority Program “Research Vessels” organizes an annual coordination workshop. This workshop is aimed at scientists and research groups from German universities, universities of applied sciences, and research institutions. To ensure broad participation, all presentations are held in English.

Participation in the coordination workshop is recommended for applicants:
(a) who intend to submit a new proposal within the Infrastructure Priority Program “Research Vessels”,
(b) who plan to submit a renewal proposal, or
(c) who are currently funded under the program.

For (a) and (b): Applicants submitting new or renewal proposals are strongly encouraged to present their project during the coordination workshop in a 10-minute presentation. The structure of the presentation is flexible but should focus on key aspects, such as background, hypotheses or objectives, approach, project duration, and an overview of personnel and costs.

Registration is handled through the coordination office (spp2520@uni-heidelberg.de). The registration form is distributed via the Listserv and is also made available on this website. Hotel costs of up to 100,00€ and travel costs can be reimbursed by filling out the travel reimbursement form and submitting it to the coordination office. Please send the completed form and all invoices/receipts via email. It is essential that you print out the form, sign the form, and send us the scanned version. Digital signatures are unfortunately not accepted. 

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation for the workshop.
