Program Committee
The Program Committee brings together four experienced researchers from a range of scientific and interdisciplinary backgrounds. Through their expertise, guidance, and commitment, the committee supports the academic quality and strategic development of the program.

Prof. Dr. Stefanie Arndt, a professor and sea-ice physicist whose research focuses on polar climate processes, snow on sea ice, and Antarctic and Arctic observation systems. She is affiliated with the University of Hamburg and the Alfred Wegener Institute, where she contributes to international climate and polar research initiatives.
Prof. Dr. Saskia Brix is a marine biologist and cooperative professor at the University of Hamburg, associated with the Senckenberg Research Institute. Her work focuses on deep-sea biodiversity, benthic biogeography, and vulnerable marine ecosystems, with extensive experience in international marine expeditions and ecosystem research.
Prof. Dr. Nicole Aberle-Malzahn is a marine ecologist and Managing Director at the Institute for Marine Ecosystem and Fishery Science at the University of Hamburg. Her research focuses on experimental marine zooplankton ecology, trophic interactions, pelagic ecosystems, and the role of marine organisms in biogeochemical and carbon cycling processes. She contributes to interdisciplinary marine and climate research initiatives and is actively involved in collaborative research and graduate training programs in marine sciences.
Prof. Dr. Christian Berndt is Professor of Marine Geophysics and Head of the Research Unit Marine Geodynamics at the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel. His research focuses on marine geodynamics, fluid migration in marine sediments, submarine hazards, seismic imaging, and the relationship between geological processes and climate change. He has led numerous international marine research expeditions and contributes extensively to interdisciplinary ocean and geoscience research.
